Boston Ballet Joins Family Days Program for Free Performances
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has announced that the Boston Family Days program will now include free access to live performances at various venues, including the Boston Ballet, for students and their families. This initiative aims to enhance cultural opportunities and will run from October 2025 to early January 2026, offering over 2,500 complimentary tickets to students from grades Pre-K through 12 and their guests.
In addition to free tickets, the program will feature educational activities such as backstage tours and artist talks, promoting creativity and engagement among students. Boston Public Schools students are automatically enrolled, while others can register through the city's platform. The Family Days program, which has grown significantly since its inception, aims to inspire lifelong learning and curiosity through the arts.
